Essentials

Requirements

We select only tutors with proven track records. Beyond standard background checks (DBS, references), applicants must meet these criteria:

Elite Education

Attended or attending a leading UK university (Oxbridge, G5, Russell Group).

High Achiever

On track to achieve, or have achieved, a 2:1 or higher degree.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring experience.

Subject Expert

Achieved an A/A* in A-Level for the subjects you wish to teach.

Passionate

A genuine passion for Education and helping students succeed.

Professional

Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism.

How it works

Recruitment Process

To become a private tutor with WinAtExams, all applicants must first register using our tutoring application below. Please attach your tutoring CV.

Stage 1: Telephone interview

We will give you a 15 minute call to understand your motivations for applying for this role. You will then be asked to complete the next 2 stages.

Stage 2: Competency Interview

This consists of behavioural/situational judgement scenarios focused on the interpersonal skills and personal attributes we consider critical.

Stage 3: Final Interview

We look for people with an entrepreneurial spirit: innovative by nature, always creating new approaches, products, services, and technologies.
